I shall look out for a transcript, but since the speech is so long, I am not too hopeful. Also, the jokes he makes about black and white speech patterns would be impossible to explain in print!
I really admire this man. He knows perfectly well that he is going to be, as we say metaphorically, ‘crucified’ for this, but I think I know why he did it.
My theory is that he is trying to prevent Obama, whom he feels some moral responsibility for, from becoming an ‘Uncle Tom’ – the most prominent and dangerous ‘Uncle Tom’ in history, and probably the last, because, let’s face it, the USA is on the point of launching a nuclear world war. The man or woman who serves as president when this war starts will be remembered for as long as humanity exists, which may not be very long, as much, much more evil than Hitler, who only killed thirty million or so.
I suppose that it will be John McCain, a soulless monster of a man.

I happened to catch the entire speech, live, by Rev. Wright. It was awesome and my respect for him went up many fold. You’re right, you just can’t get the sense in print; and the black uncle Toms who said they’d sat through many sermons like this in the Black Church were missing the point.
Poor Obama, trying so hard to please White Americans of a certain persuasion. Better to be true, than compromise yourself. And WTF about his attacking Pres. Carter? Sad. MLK or Malcolm X, he ain’t..

I speak as one who admires Ron Paul and Ralph Nader because you never would see them compromising THEIR principles..

Thanks for posting the Rev. Wright speech links, Rowan.
I don’t have a very fast connection at the moment (weather), but I watched a couple of the clips.
He is a very impressive person.
The truth is rarely popular.
Shame on those who demand that Obama denounce him.

Wow. This guy is amazing. How can somebody like him be so mistreated by the US press.
Thanks, Niqnag son of Naqniq

yeah… he really burns the place down, it’s great. At one point he does a little war dance and freaks out the two guys sitting on each side of him, so they get up obviously momentarily frightened they may have to calm him down.

Please delete my other responses. But please tell me what he says in the following passage:
It’s part two at 6. something.

The likelihood of a nuclear world war has just been significantly reduced, thanks to some fancy footwork by MY MAN AHMADINEJAD – see this story, which I have edited down from a longer one on Global Research.
