Iran prepares for 60% uranium enrichment
DEBKAfile, Aug 3 2012

The months of negotiations with the six world powers were happily used by Iran for great strides toward bringing its nuclear weapon program to fruition. Tehran’s back-channel dialogue with Washington leading up to the negotiations served the same purpose. Since diplomacy ran aground, war has become inevitable and preparations for cutting short Iran’s rapid progress have accelerated. Former Mossad director Ephraim Halevi commented to the NYT on Aug 2 that if he was an Iranian he would be very worried in the next 12 weeks. Developments in Iran and the region at large are generating the current eve-of-war climate in the Middle East:

  1. While Saeed Jalili communed at leisure with Catherine Ashton in world capitals, uranium enrichment levels in Iran crept past 20% in expanded quantities. The six powers are understandably reluctant to admit that in the time bought by negotiations, Iran was able to refine uranium up to 30% grade or even a higher and go into advanced preparations for 65% grade enrichment. Now the Iranians are well on the way to an 80%-90% weapons grade. The talk in Tehran about the need for nuclear-powered ships and submarines offered a fictitious pretext for crossing that threshold. Iran is not about to build those vessels or engines for lack of technology, materials and infrastructure. But nuclear-powered ships’ engines require the same highly-enriched uranium (90%) as bombs.
  2. Iran has launched a crash mega-fortification program for sheathing in steel and concrete nuclear facilities whose transfer to underground “immune zones” for escaping bombardment would be too costly, cumbersome and time consuming. If USrael leaves Iran alone to complete this project, they will have forfeited the opportunity of pre-empting Iran’s nuclear program, only inflicting partial and temporary damage at best.
  3. Obama is under very heavy pressure from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf oil states to waste no more time and destroy that program without further shilly-shallying.
  4. Riyadh, Doha and Abu Dhabi tried to achieve that objective indirectly by massively backing the Syrian revolt against Tehran’s best friend Bashar Assad in the hope that his fall would stop the Iranians in their tracks. They never came close: Assad is still fighting tenaciously and his army is in intact after 17 months.
  5. Instead of capitulating to the odds against the Syrian ruler, Tehran increased its military stake in Assad’s battles. Without Iran’s lavish and timely air and ground supply corridors, the Syrian army would have long since run out of arms for defending the Assad regime against revolt. The Gulf governments are therefore forced to accept that their plans to weaken Iran by toppling Assad have backfired in more ways than one.
  6. Turkey and Iraq, each for its own reasons, are letting Iranian arms pass through their territories to Damascus, a move which is counter-productive to Gulf interests on the Middle East keyboard. Ankara, in particular, hosts rebel command centers and training camps with one hand, while, with the other, lets arms shipments through to Assad’s army for destroying those same rebels the moment the cross into Syria.
  7. UN, US and EU sanctions have failed to drive Tehran into giving up its nuclear program, as even the White House admitted on Aug 1, or slowed down its development of ballistic missiles capable of delivering nuclear warheads.
  8. USraeli intelligence experts agree that Iran will be able to produce dirty bomb within three months, ready to hand out to the terrorist networks run by the Revolutionary Guards external clandestine arm, the Al Quds Brigades. They are designed for use in time of war against Israelis abroad and Americans in the Persian Gulf and Middle East. Israel fears the radioactive bombs will find their way to Tehran’s surrogates, the Lebanese Hizballah or the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
  9. Those experts also agree that the Tehran-sponsored terrorist campaign against Israel has already begun. Launched by Hizballah or the Al Quds Brigades, it is expected to gain impetus. The Jul 18 attack in the Bulgarian town of Burgas, in which five Israelis and a Bulgarian were killed, is seen as the precursor of more attacks whose dimensions will expand in a way that forces Israel to retaliate.

Common sense, people. Use your common sense. Why would Iran do something so obvious it hands Netanyahu and the USA the justification for invasion? Even 65% enriched uranium doesn’t make a bomb. And even if Iran had a bomb they still face an Israel with 400 deliverable warheads and the US, with its even larger arsenal of nuclear weapons (and the dubious distinction of being the only nation to actually use them against the civilians of another country.

Iran is not historically in the habit of starting wars. It’s been over 200 years since Iran started a war; a record certainly neither the United States nor Israel can match.

This claim of 65% enrichment is more of the same WMD lies we heard leading into the invasion of Iraq.

What should alarm us all about this latest “Iran has a bomb, trust us” is that Netanyahu is in a corner. Obama knows that launching a new war before November’s elections will work against him. But Netanyahu is facing his elections in October and without a new war to scare the Israeli people back into line, Likud will most likely lose its majority to the Kadima party and Netanyahu will be out of a job. In that context, Netanyahu’s only remaining option is a false-flag nuclear bomb to be blamed on Iran, and this claim of 65% enrichment is being put out to make such a frame-up seem credible.

Dirty bomb is neocon fantasy. If it was effective for any purpose, someone would have used one by now. They are useless except as fear-mongering false-flag.

Power cost for enrichment is not linear. Energy required to enrich to 90% is thousands of times the energy already spent by Iran to enrich. Nuclear weapons are very expensive, partly because of the electricity require.

And attacking Iran would virtually guarantee an eventual bomb gets made, not prevent it. Thats what Israel actually wants.
They know exactly what they’re doing.

What a load of crap! Israel is generating the current eve-of-war climate, not Iran. And your proof/source for claims that Iran has increased enrichment percentages? ….and no, Israeli sources don’t count. Why would Iran increase enrichment while under scrutiny? Answer: they would not. Is is the warmongers in the Israeli government that want WWIII not Iran.

Listen carefully, the following is the long-planned end game, and it’s fast approaching. The ruling finances is crashing the USA right now, they will ensure theat the USA collapses financially, and then militarily. ALL of this made possible as a consequence of the financial frauds and the robbery of anything of value in the USA, done by the insane amount of money given (bailouts a.s.o.) to the very same institutes that ruined USA and its people, leading it into the Abyss.

The companies are using the US Army to their dirty work, and where do you think the benefits of these wars go? Follow the money and it will be clear. They are the enemy of mankind, and all the other creatures on this planet. Russia and China is already overtaken by the same forces, the robber barons’ financial war is at an end, Russia is just waiting in the shadows, like China, stalking wars the USA is fooled into is designed for just that.

The carefully orchestrated Yen will rise, and Rouble too, not now, but during the course of the next years, because the collapse of the USA will still be delayed, and will be so, until Iran/North Africa is under their control. They control the resources, whatever the indigenous people do against each other, they don’t give a shit, look at Libya and Northern Africa, like Mali a.s.o. And their Puppets are in charge, in Egypt, Libya; Qatar; Saudi, Jordan, a.s.o. and above them all. the lunatic asylum Israel.

Israel will eventually get its Eretz Israel, from the Euphrates to the Nile, and then we will enter a reality that will be a nighmare to all living creatures on this earth, and specially Christians and Muslims will be hunted down. They have killed tens of millions of Christians as an example in Communist/Zionist-run Russia. The very same zionists that bragged threatening to kill your president, have you forgotten this already, and the assasination attempt on Clinton inside Israel few months ago, forgotten that too.

This nuclear issue is just a tool, rivers of drivel served to create uncertanty about atomic power, a notion highly exaggerated and pimped hard in scaremongering fashion as always. This is just plain bullshit and that’s it. They want war, never-ending wars, and in that chaos, the rise of the beast/Zionist will occur. I belive the initial calm is just that, a rearranging of finances and people, to set the next stage into motion. And that will happen soon, the momentum indicates that.

    You were warned.
