The FSB announced the closure of the freight between Ukraine and Crimea

Ukraine blocks Russian cargo flows in the Crimea and prevents cross-border traffic between the two countries through the Crimean checkpoints, said first Deputy Director of FSB, army General Vladimir Kulishov, head of the border service of the Ministry. He told RIA Novosti:

Commodity and truck flows are blocked by land and at sea. Attempts to arrest and bring to administrative responsibility of the captains of the Russian and foreign vessels decorated in ports situated on the Crimean Peninsula. In addition, the Ukrainian authorities do not recognize foreign passports of citizens of Russia, issued by the passport and visa agencies in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. Not only the flow of goods, but the entire border activities in Crimea is under severe pressure from Kiev. Cancelled train and bus links between the Crimea and Ukraine. Under various pretexts, is limited to the crossing of state border of citizens.

According to him, the area of responsibility of the Crimean border guard set 12 Russian border crossing points, including three automobile (“Dzhankoy”, “Armyansk”, “Perekop”), three railway (“Dzhankoy”, “Armyansk”, “Simferopol”), five sea (Yevpatoriya, Sevastopol, Yalta, Feodosiya, Kerch) and one air (Simferopol). In 2014, 5,900,000 vehicles crossed the border. Crimea became part of Russia in Mar 2014 according to the results of the referendum in which 96% of voters supported this decision. Kiev and Western countries have refused to recognize the legitimacy of the plebiscite. Kiev considers Crimea to be unlawfully annexed Ukrainian territory. The EU, Pindostan and several other states began to impose sanctions against Russia.
