We have been complaining about this to the kosher (its color scheme is blue and white) Liberal Democrat blog we frequent, with much sympathetic response: in the US become the SU, you must phrase everything in terms of the glory of comrade Stalin. American armies are always winning gloriously. You cannot begin outside the certainty of victory and ask whether we should be fighting in the first place. You have to promise that we can win more betterer than those guys would win.
