Zakh has now got to the stage of asking his political secret police to investigate and identify the “ringleaders” of face-to-face criticism he gets on his bombastic little walkabouts. This is the question that I am hearing on the Forum: “Is he holding conversations with all the officers of 15,000 grouping AFU which will lead to assignment of surrender?” Zakh says Kiev is paying them to act as provocateurs. Somewhere a stage or two down this road lie public executions – RB

Troll is a very relative term. One person’s troll may be the next person’s Zen Master. It all depends on the flying spaghetti monsters, really. We are but pawns. 🙂

I know it’s a very good Jewish joke, really, but I can’t quite parse it:
“Ours and yours for a shekel we dance.”
“Nashim e vashim sa shekel plyashem.”
“Нашим и вашим за шекель пляшем”

The wording is all direct from the yandex autotranslator, and there is no way to become accustomed to that and able to detect the intended figures of speech etc, except by using it.

“we’ll dance for a sheckel for your guys and our guys”
cf. “he who pays the piper calls the tune,” but here there are ethnic connotations as when Latinos talk about the “yankee dollar”

I am looking for a financial subtext. If both sides notionally have to put up a shekel, somehow you end up dancing just to avoid losing your own shekel, and they never even showed you theirs.

    🙂

Jokes is always difficult. I have one here which says:

Management action LDNR reminiscent of the joke about the cat and the cat: “If you can’t find me, I shall be in this wardrobe.”

Действия руководства ЛДНР напоминают анекдот про кота и кошку: “если не найдешь, то я в этом шифоньере.”
