ISIS’s notorious executioner Jihadi John has reportedly fled the Jihadi group and is on the run in war-torn Syria and may have joined another Jihadi group. Mohammed Emwazi, a British Kuwaiti computer science graduate turned murderer, is believed to have left the Jihadi group after becoming fearful he might be killed by ISIS’s chiefs. The British Jihadi has not been seen in a propaganda video for nearly six months after the horrific beheading of Japanese photo-journalist Kenji Goto. Questions over Emwazi’s whereabouts have developed following his sudden disappearance from the spotlight in late January. It is thought that the media pressure associated with being the masked executioner and the publicity surrounding his real identity may have led to Emwazi’s surprise decision to leave ISIS. Possibly reasons for his decision to leave may be linked to his concerns that UKUSA special forces are thought to be carrying out covert operations in Syria and Iraq. Emwazi has long been considered a high-value target and was the stand-out figure in ISIS’s brutal media strategy to terrify both the world. Now ISIS chiefs are thought to have decided that Emwazi has become dispensable and no longer a necessary player in the Jihadi group, a source the MI6 press office told the Mirror. Nick Kaderbhai of the ICSR (Kings College London plus IDC Herzliya – RB) questioned the alleged departure of Jihadi John from ISIS, commenting:
This isn’t the first of these stories to ’emerge’. In the last few months, he has said to have fled to Syria, Turkey and Libya. It does not make sense to think that they would drop him like a stone. It’s not like he’s a captured Westerner who has lost propaganda value. If anything, the less he is featured, the more impact he will have. And the claim that he is in fear for his life doesn’t fit the profile of the committed Salafi Jihadi. They tend to embrace their identity wholeheartedly and claim not to fear death. His disappearance from their propaganda videos may indicate that ISIS have nothing high-profile to show off.
The ‘news’ comes after ‘rumours’ that Jihadi John had been moved by ISIS to Libya, where he supposedly attended a terror training camp with Sousse gunman Seif’ed-Dine Rezgui. Emwazi, who changed his name via deed poll, has not appeared in an actual ISIS propaganda video since Japanese photojournalist Kenji Goto was executed. The one-minute video was released on Jan 31 and showed Emwazi issuing a message directly to the Japanese government before beheading the 47-year-old photojournalist. He had previously been seen beheading Pindosi journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff as well as murdering aid workers Alan Henning, David Haines and Peter Kassig (and if you believe in all that, I can probably sell you an expensive defense plan – RB). Since he was unmasked on Feb 26, little has been seen of the brutal Jihadi, sparking rumours about his current whereabouts or possible death. Another masked executioner dressed in a familiar all-black robe has since featured in several Libyan ISIS propaganda videos. With his distinct Pindosi-sounding accent, the executioner has been shown carrying out group executions of Egyptian, Eritrean and Ethiopian Christian hostages in Libya. The ‘news’ comes after ‘rumours emerged’ that fellow British ISIS fighter, Abd’el-Majid Abd’el-Bari, may now be living in Turkey after reportedly leaving Syria, disguising himself as a refugee.

British terrorist Mohammed Emwazi, aka Jihadi John, has fled the ISIS terror network and gone on the run in Syria, according to ‘a source’ the MI6 press office. He is said to have been terrified by the publicity when he was identified as the murderer of UKUSA hostages and fears being hunted down. UKUSA special forces are in both Iraq and Syria. One of their priorities is to find the 26-year-old from London and either bring him to justice or kill him. Emwazi is also believed to fear his unmasking had diminished his value as an ISIS killer and also that jealous fellow Jihadis might plot against him. He may have joined a less well-known Jihadi group somewhere in Syria to try to hide from the huge manhunt for him across the Middle East. Emwazi is wanted for the gruesome killings of journalists and aid workers Stephen Sotloff, James Foley, David Haines, Alan Henning and Peter Kassig. ‘A source’ The MI6 press office said:
ISIS killers will drop Emwazi like a stone or worse if they feel he is no longer of any use to them. So it is possible he will end up suffering the same fate as his victims.
