Russia does not plan to answer in kind to Washington forcing its way into Russia’s locked consulate in Seattle, which Moscow sees as a violation of international law, Russia’s Foreign Ministry spox said. Last week, Pindo boxtops called a locksmith to break into the sealed Russian consulate in Seattle, which was vacated by Russian diplomats after Faschingstein ordered it closed. Plainclothes Pindo boxtops held a large blue tarp over the consulate’s entrance as the locksmith was gaining access to the building that had the Russian flag still flying over it. Heather Nauert described the actions as “a firm, lawful response to Russia’s continuing outrageous behavior.” Moscow, which did not agree to remove the diplomatic immunity from the compound, vocally protested what it labelled as “a gross violation of diplomatic conventions.” But Russia is not planning to give Pindostan a taste of its own medicine, Maria Zakharova said on Sunday, adding that Moscow will not stoop to making a bizarre spectacle out of a Pindo mission’s closure. Zakharova said during a popular Russian political talk show on Sunday:

If you imply that Russian diplomats or any other officials will bring blue cloth to the Pindo embassy and use it to do some manipulations with Pindo property or even rented premises, then no, this is not who we are. Instead, we are preparing to file lawsuits in Pindo courts over the expropriation of the Russian diplomatic compounds. “Lawful actions,” our State Dept colleagues call them, but I have never seen in my life seen such “lawful actions: carried out in such a creepy way.

Syrian Witnesses Who Speak Truth ‘Poisoned’ By Western Reporters – Zakharova
Sputnik News, Apr 30 2018

Russian Foreign Ministry spox Maria Zakharova criticized unethical behavior by western reporters toward Syrian witnesses of the staged ‘chemical attack’ in Douma. She promised to reveal the journalists’ names at a nearest press briefing. Talking on Rossiya 1 TV Channel, Zakharova pointed at questions made by British ITV and BBC journalists during an OPCW news conference on Apr 26, in which 17 witnesses of the staged ‘chemical attack’ at Syrian Douma were present. According to Zakharova, an ITV reporter asked the witnesses how much they were paid for taking part in the press conference, while a BBC journalist claimed that a 12-year-old boy named Hasan Diab, who took part in the briefing, would suffer “psychological trauma.” Zakharova said on TV:

The journalists who first exploited a thesis about democracy for many years, then images of children for many years, they now ask whether a child suffers a psychological trauma after being brought to Hague. I’ve found names of those journalists. They are not just British, but also Dutch. At the next briefing I will show you the names of those journalists, we will reconstruct the picture how they poisoned those Syrians. They said the Syrians were poisoned with chemicals, but we will show who really poisoned them. They were poisoned by those exact British journalists who sat before them and scoffed at them. I would like to ask those journalists: when six, seven years ago they called for ‘Arab Spring’ in the MENA, did they think about what psychological trauma that would be caused to children who were not even born yet?

Earlier on Thursday, Russian and Syrian OPCW missions gathered for a member briefing regarding the alleged Apr 7 chemical attack in the Syrian city of Douma. To prove that the ‘White Helmets’ video that served as basis for the Apr 14 missile attacks on Syria were staged, 17 witnesses were brought in. The Syrians from Douma, including medical personnel, explained what exactly happened that day, and proof that the materials were forged was later presented to the media.

Corporate Media in West Doubles Down on the Douma CW Narrative
21st Century Wire, Apr 28 2018

Western media is feeling the heat. Many appeared “outraged” that a child was being “used” to argue against corporate media claims that “Assad did it” and used chemical weapons that he doesn’t have against the people of Douma that the Syrian Arab Army had given over 600 lives to liberate. The ridiculousness of the West’s arguments was not lost on an informed public that is awakened to the  ‘chemical’ propaganda construct that has been used a little too often to facilitate further NATO-member-state military intervention disguised as “humanitarian” interference. Rather than withdraw gracefully, corporate media doubled down on their crumbling propaganda facade. ITV’s Rupert Evelyn could barely contain his frustration, haranguing the witnesses and Alexander Shulgin:

How threatened do you have to feel, to change your story and to deny a CW attack? And a question for you, Ambassador! How low do you have to go, to bring a little child all the way here and threaten him?

We should ask Evelyn if he had any qualms over the exploitation of seven-year-old Bana Alabed, to promote military escalation in Syria and to push us to the brink of a world war with Syria as the battleground. Russia has given a platform to a child and his family whose voices have been systematically stifled and marginalised by the likes of Evelyn for the last seven years. Russia has given this child an opportunity to publicly defend his country against the imperialist project, and these witnesses were not “threatened” or coerced. They are patriots who are grateful for a platform to speak their truth. They have waited a long time for this moment, and the West is not happy.
