QED Kofi Annan
Colonel Cassad, Colonel Cassad, Aug 18 2018

In his 81st year of life has died the former UN Sec-Gen Kofi Annan. His “reign” at the UN in the years of absolute hegemony of Pindostan and the abject failure of the UN to prevent wars of aggression against Yugoslavia, Iraq and Afghanistan, with weak protests from Annan or without any at all. In the case of Yugoslavia, even before his election as Sec-Gen, Annan supported the NATO aggression against a sovereign country.

In 2004, after the occupation of Iraq. Annan’s son was caught in a corruption scheme in the framework of the “Oil for food” program. No coincidence that he was often accused of dependence on Pindostan and playing up the political line of Faschingstein that helped to legitimize us policy of hegemony through UN agencies. Annan’s defenders usually argue that the UN was weak in any case and Annan, being pragmatic, and did what they could within their own narrow possibilities, and in the case of Iraq even expressed disagreement with aggression.

After his retirement, at the beginning of the Syrian war, he again floated to the surface of high politics, suggesting the notorious “Annan plan” which led to some reduction in the intensity of the fighting in Syria. In 2012 the fighting regained strength, the insurgents having used the diplomatic breathing space to prepare and rearm for another attack on Assad. After having duly played his role, Annan returned to the shadows, from which he never re-emerged.

And yes, the year of the Pindo invasion of Afghanistan, grabbed the Nobel peace prize. However. after the award of this prize to Obama, this isn’t an unprecedented achievement. Well, you can still remember what was indirectly involved in the genocide in Rwanda, which later publicly apologized, agreeing with the findings that having certain resources, did everything he could to prevent the massacre. Overall, this is a fairly typical figure for the period of unconditional Pindo hegemony, when Pindostan turned to international law and international organizations as they wanted.
