Ukraine Is A Black Hole Sucking Money From The West
South Front, Oct 26 2022

Kiev’s demands to its Western patrons are growing. Apparently, the Europeans and Americans have not tightened their belts enough to sponsor the war in Ukraine and the corrupt Kiev regime. At a conference in Berlin, Zelensky complained that he has not yet received “a single cent” within the country’s rapid recovery plan totaling $17b. On the same day, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, calmed him down by promising €19b more, excluding military supplies. Europeans will pay €1.5b to Ukrainians every month. Meanwhile, German President Steinmeier was hiding in a bunker in Western Ukraine. As well as almost all foreign public figures who came to Ukraine to discuss military and financial aid, he was welcomed with air alarm. The same old scenario staged by Ukrainians worked. Steinmeier promised Zelensky that the Mars II MLRS and four additional Panzerhaubitze 2000-type howitzers would be transferred to Ukraine in the coming days. Berlin has already supplied the Kiev regime with military goods totaling €686m.

The main Ukrainian meal ticket, the US, keeps in step. On Oct 25, the CEO of Raytheon Technologies said that the deployment of the first two NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems in Ukraine is already underway. These are medium—range air defense systems with air-to-air missiles, which are aimed to protect Ukraine from Russian missiles and drones. In total, Washington promised to supply Ukraine with eight such systems as part of the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative. The Pentagon paid Raytheon more than $182.2m for the NASAMS for Ukraine. Washington also considers the transfer of Patriot air defense systems to the Ukrainian military. There are negotiations ongoing, but the final decision rests with the White House. In October alone, more than four hundred units of military equipment were sent from the US to Europe with subsequent transfer to Ukraine. In November, deliveries are planned to increase amid the upcoming winter military campaign of Russia.

Military supplies from the US are carried out in a hurry, which leads to technical errors; up to the point that HMMWVs are often shipping incomplete. For example, some are missing the bulletproof glass windshield. At the same time, Washington already faces problems with logistics. Supplies to Ukraine are so large that the US is facing a shortage of military cargo ships and is forced to use vessels of third countries; masking supplies to Ukraine under military trade contracts with other NATO states. While Kiev is waiting for new weapons from the West, Russian forces continue strikes at the military and energy infrastructure of Ukraine. Air alarms sounded in different regions. While the alarm in Kiev was rather dedicated to the visit of the German president, the authorities in Kharkov and Donetsk regions confirmed the attacks.

Overview Of Military Situation In Bakhmut
South Front, Oct 25 2022

Heavy clashes continue on the outskirts of the city of Bakhmut, also known as Artemovsk, located in the DPR. The city remains under the control of the AFU, while the AFRF is storming the industrial area on the eastern outskirts and approaches the city from the souther direction, where the battle for control of the village of Opytnoe is ongoing

Units of the Wagner Group are holding control of the local Asphalt plant located in the south-eastern part of the industrial area. At the same time, Russian assault groups are advancing in the city down Patrice Lumumba Street. The mop up operations are ongoing on the territory of the local furniture factory and the Bakhmut plant of construction ceramics. The rest of the industrial facilities are currently in the gray zone. None of the warring sides controls them.

Ukrainian forces have recently shared videos from the industrial area, showing the destructions on the territory of the Siniat plant located several kilometers to the west from the Bakhmut plant of construction ceramics. Ukrainian sources claimed another victory of the Ukrainian military. Some sources mistakenly reported that the AFU repelled Russian Wagner fighters from the asphalt plant. However, Russian forces have never claimed control of the facility. Ukrainian servicemen reportedly left their positions from the Siniat plant about a week ago. They shared some photos which were declared as a new victory. The Ukrainian military is unlikely to reestablish their positions in the area. Thus, the fighting for the control of the facility is yet to take place.

On the southern outskirts of the city, Russian-led forces hold control of the village of Ivangrad and are storming Opytnoe. Clashes continue in the village. The villages of Veselaya Dolina and Zaitsevo are also under Russian control. Russian forces are securing their positions in the area in order to threaten the Ukrainain grouping in Bakhmut from the southern direction. The Russian military is advancing to the west across the Bakhmutka River. The village of Otradovka located on the road leading to Bakhmut is under Russian control. On Oct 24, during the assault operation launched from Otradovka, Russian troops repelled units of the 58th motorized infantry brigade of the AFU to the reserve lines of defence. The Russian military is approaching Kleshiivka and Kurdymovka. Their goal is to cut off the railways leading to Bakhmut from the south-western direction. In their turn, on Oct 24, fighters of the 46th separate assault battalion of the 53rd separate mechanized brigade of the AFU attempted to attack the flank of Russian forces from Kleshcheevka. The attack was repelled and allowed the Russian military to go on the offensive in the area. Wagner fighters showed concrete firing positions of Ukrainian troops near Zaitsevo:

The Ukrainian grouping in Bakhmut risks to be surrounded from the south-western direction; but so far, the pace of Russian advance in the region has been slowed down. The Wagner assault groups are also unlikely to advance in the city before the main supply roads of the Ukrainian military are cut off. The Ukrainian garrison in Bakhmut holds the defense and even attempts to counterattack without much success. On Oct 24, Ukrainian servicemen shared a video from the city center, claiming that there were no Russian soldiers. The video was made on the right bank of the Bakhmutka river, on the the intersection of Independence Street with B Gorbatov Street, far from the area of the ongoing hostilities.

Despite the fact that the Russian military is yet to enter the city center, the video shared by the Ukrainian soldier shows that the buildings in the area have already been damaged. The locals confirm that the city was damaged as a result of the shelling by the Ukrainian artillery from the town of Chasov Yar. The shells do not reach Russian positions on the eastern outskirts but hit the residential quarters in various districts of the city. Ukrainian forces are reinforcing their positions in the city, preparing for the upcoming Russian assault. They traditionally erect barricades on the streets near the civilian facilities. Ukrainian servicemen together with Polish and British mercenaries avoid direct combat contact with the Russian military, equipping firing points in residential buildings and apartments, as well as at large civilian enterprises. Some civilians still remain in the city, but there are very few of them left.

Ukrainian Nazis From Azov Regiment Confessed To Their Crimes Against Civilians
South Front, Oct 25 2022

Captured militants of the Ukrainian Nazi Azov regiment confessed to their crimes against civilians in Mariupol. One of the Ukrainian fighters told that he killed four civilians during the battle for Mariupol. He allegedly was not sure whether it was the enemy or not. He said:

I killed four civilians with a sniper rifle. Accidently, during the battle. I did not recognize whether they were enemies or not. A tank was moving along the Azovstal street and shelled the houses of civilians.

The crimes against the civilian population were not accidents. Another member of the Nazi regiment testified that the Azov commander Redis (Denis Prokopenko) ordered to shoot at civilians as they were not human. The prisoner of war recalls:

We were told: there are no civilians here, so you should kill everyone.

Ukrainian defenders looted civilians and took anything they could as they dreamed “to become reach when they come home” after war:

Another POW confirmed that Ukrainian Nazis filmed the battles and firing positions of the Russians and send the videos abroad:

The battalion commander mainly communicated with them, I heard that they told him that they were shooting videos, some kind of video evidence. What I heard is that they are shooting a video and sending it abroad.

Testimonies of local residents of Mariupol confirmed that nationalist battalion’s fighters shot people and dumped them in basements. Ukrainian Nazis felt free to kill anyone who refused to let the militants to establish the firing points in their apartments. People have been suffering from the crimes of Ukrainian Nazis for years:
