Threat For Russian Military On Ukrainian Front Lines
South Front, Oct 5 2022

Amid the upcoming Russian winter military campaign, the Kiev regime is in a hurry to advance and repel Russian units from strategically important settlements. In the north-east of the country, the advance of Ukrainian forces has almost stopped in recent days. Fighting reached the territory of the LPR. The Ukrainian Army is advancing on the left bank of the Oskol River. Most recently, they claimed control of the villages of Borovskaya Andreevka and Boguslavka which is a clear sign that they are strengthening their foothold for an attack in the eastern direction. At the moment, the main target of the Ukrainian military is the town of Svatovo. In the case of success, they are expected to move forward to the east towards Starobelsk and then attack the Severodonetsk-Lisichansk agglomeration. The town of Kremennaya remains under Russian control as well as the road leading to Svatovo. The Russian military is preparing for defense, reinforcing protective constructions near the town as well as around the Severodonetsk-Lisichansk agglomeration.

In the south of Ukraine, Ukrainian forces have forced Russian units to leave their positions in the northern part of the Kherson region. Russian forces in Olgino and adjacent settlements came under the threat of encirclement. Also, Russian troops left Davydov Brod, where there were fierce battles for two months. The Russian Army is creating a new line of defense, avoiding the threat of falling into the cauldron due to the tactically successful Ukrainian offensive. The defensive positions of the Russian Army now pass along the Kostromka—Bruskinskoye—Borozenskoye—Mylovoye line. Along the Dnieper River, Ukrainian units managed to reach the village of Dudchany where clashes are ongoing. Russian units blew up the bridge over the local reservoir and retreated to the southern part of the village. The main target of the Ukrainian military are the towns of Berislav and Novaya Kahovka located 50 km to the north-east of the city of Kherson.

At the same time, Ukrainian forces continue probing actions west of the capital of the region, attacking in small groups the Russian positions near Posad-Pokrovskoe. Ukrainian forces are also preparing an offensive in the Snigerevka area, transferring reinforcements there. In an attempt to disrupt Russian military communications in the region, Ukrainians continued shelling the Antonovsky Bridge across the Dnieper River. On Oct 4, 6 missiles launched with Us-made HIMARS MLRS hit the bridge. So far, the Ukrainian military has not begun a large-scale offensive on the city of Kherson. They are currently strengthening their positions, transferring reserves to the newly occupied areas. However, new large-scaled offensive operations are expected in the coming days, as Kiev has to hurry up amid reinforcement of the Russian grouping in the region by hundreds of recently mobilized servicemen.

Blood On The Streets In Donetsk
South Front, Oct 5 2022

The shelling of the city of Donetsk and other settlements by the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues daily, and civilians are killed daily. On Oct 5, among the targets for the Kiev forces there were the Kiev, Kirov and Kuibyshev districts of the city of Donetsk. They came under massive artillery fire. More than 25 strikes with NATO 155 mm shells were recorded. Civilian infrastructure facilities of the capital were shelled, including the local school #65, City Hospital #25, Abakumovo Recreation Center, the European residential complex near Shakhterskaya Square, as well as houses in the village of Staromikhailovka. A boy born in 2005 died in Staromikhailovka as a result of the shelling. A woman and two men were killed by the Kiev regime in the Kirovsky district in Donetsk near the Abakumov Palace of Culture. At least three more people were injured, their condition is not specified at this moment.

The day before, the AFU shelled the bus fleet in Donetsk. An employee of a transport company was killed. Once again, the target of the AFU was not a military facility, but an enterprises where civilians work. On the same day, a woman was killed as a result of the shelling in the Kirov district in Donetsk.

The attacks are carried out with high-precisions weapons supplied to the terrorist Ukrainian forces by their Western partners. The Ukrainian nazis deliberately target civilian houses and facilities in an attempt to threaten the population in the lost territories. This is the reality that the citizens of the DPR and LPR have been living in for years during the so-called Anti-Terrorist operation launched by the Kiev regime.

Geranium-2 UAVS Reached Kiev Region, Hit Military Unit In Bila Tserkva
South Front, Oct 5 2022

On the night of Oct 5, Russian drones hit a military facility in the town of Bila Tserkva in the Kiev region. The attack was confirmed by the Kiev regional State Administration. The military unit of the 72nd mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was reportedly hit by Russian suicide UAVs. The facility was used for formation of military units and training of mobilized Ukrainian servicemen. According to the head of the Kiev regional military administration Alexei Kuleba, the attack was carried out by Iranian-made Shahed-136 UAVs which were rebranded as Russian Geranium-2.

Explosions were heard in the town and eyewitnesses filmed the large fire that broke out in the facility. By the morning, the destruction of the unit was confirmed. According to the Kiev authorities, there were no victims as a result of the attack. The rescue operation continues. Kiev is unlikely to reveal the real number of casualties.

Alexei Kuleba noticed that a total of six strikes and explosions were recorded. His claims confirm that the Russian military is now striking Ukrainian military facilities with swarms of suicide drones. Previously, they simultaneously used two or three Geranium UAVs to hit targets in Odessa. The attack also revealed the weakness of Ukrainian air defense systems. The Kiev region is the most protected by Ukrainian air defense systems, but the Geranium-2 UAVs went unnoticed.

This is the first strike of Russian Geranium-2 UAVs carried out far from from the front lines. The suicide UAVs proved their effectiveness for attacks on the targets located 60 km from Kiev. Previously, the Geranium-2 UAVs struck military facilities and military equipment in the Odessa, Kharkov and other war-torn regions. The attack is a reminder for the Kiev regime that the Russian military can hit targets in the capital, including the decision-making centers. However, so far, there were only a few such precise strikes that targeted the Ukrainian top military command.
