Izyum Massacre Explained
South Front, Sep 18 2022

The predictable result of the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of the Kharkiv region was another information attack launched by the Kiev regime. Following the scenario played out in Bucha, the Ukrainian military discovered mass graves of “victims of the Russian occupation” in the city of Izyum. In another attempt to blame the Russian military for nazism, the Ukrainian media reported on Sep 15:

The terrible footage are the graves of the victims of the Rashist occupation on the outskirts of Izyum. There are almost no names on the plates anywhere. Apparently, bodies are buried here from under the rubble of bombed houses, which have yet to be identified.

The reports did not mention that the town has been heavily shelled by Ukrainian artillery for about five months. The very next day, the exhumation of corpses by the Ukrainian authorities began. About 400 bodies were reportedly found at the mass burial sites. Of course, the corpses of civilians and children with signs of torture were reportedly discovered. The head of the Ukrainian Kharkiv administration, supported the claims:

There are several bodies with their hands tied behind their backs, and one person is buried with a rope around his neck. Obviously, these people were tortured and executed. There are also children among those buried.

The Izyum massacre was staged just a day after EU chief Ursula von der Leyen visited Ukraine and said in an interview that she wants to see Putin face the International Criminal Court over war crimes. Zelensky has said his country is in talks with G-7 nations to set up a war crimes tribunal which would investigate and punish Russia and its top officials and military leaders for “war crimes.” Naturally, the initiative of the Ukrainian authorities was actively supported by the West. For example, Josep Borrell said:

The leadership of Russia and all those involved in this will be held accountable. The EU supports all efforts in this direction.

Borrell has already called Russia a “fascist state” bafore. The UN said it had dispatched a forensic team of investigators to examine what Ukraine has alleged is a “mass grave” left in the wake of Russian forces’ retreat from the city of Izyum.

Dozens of Western correspondents have already been brought to Izyum. However, not all of them supported the Kiev’s narrative. For example, British journalists have admitted that the scene looks like a staging. According to the journalists from The Daily Telegraph who were working on the spot confirmed that there were no evidence of repressions against civilians in the town. Local residents confirmed to the British journalists that Russian soldiers did not torture civilians. Some Ukrainian media claim that there are only civilians buried, but the photos widely shared by the Kiev regime only show the bodies of men in military uniforms.

Zelensky tried to pass off as repression the bodies of his own dead fighters, who were used as cannon fodder by the Ukrainian military command all along the front lines and who were then buried in common graves (LINK, LINK). Hundreds of Ukrainian servicemen killed on the battlefield were abandoned by their comrades and the Russian servicemen buried their corpses in mass graves. At the same time, the Ukrainian side refused to take the corpses. As there are no corpses to identify, the Ukrainian military can easily hide the real losses and Kiev should not pay money to the families of the dead (LINK). Today, the Kiev regime tries to turn Russian humanism into genocide.

“AFU, 17 people, Izyum, since March.”

“187 unidentified AFU”

The catchy picture of the bones of the hand with yellow-blue ribbons is now widely spread by Ukrainian officials. What a coincidence that the picture showing the same ribbons was spread by the Ukrainian media as another symbol of resistance long before the excavation in Izyum.

The head of the LPR commented on the Ukrainian campaign, claiming that Kiev needs the media provocation in Izyum only to create another picture in the Western media, there will be no investigation, and the victims will soon be forgotten. According to him, following the example of Bucha, it is expected that Kiev will launch new provocations in Kupyansk and other settlements. The Ukrainian authorities did not even need a preliminary conclusion on the causes of people’s deaths to accuse Russia of mass murder. He concluded:

But for the “picture” in the Western media, this is not necessary, just victims are needed, and Ukraine will appoint murderers and they should take their word for it. And then the same thing will happen as in the spring in Bucha: in a few days, no one will remember about these victims on Western and Ukrainian TV channels, and no one will even conduct any investigation. That’s the whole point of the Kiev regime.

Before the beginning of the Russian military operations in Ukraine, 45 thousand people lived in the town. They could be evacuated in a week but the Ukrainian authorities did not take the necessary measures. Ukrainian authorities had at least three weeks to evacuate civilians before the hostilities approached the region. In three weeks, only 10 thousand residents were evacuated by buses, another 10k left Izyum by their own means. Civilians were used as human shields for the Ukrainian military. Until Apr 1, the town was under the control of the Ukrainian authorities. The Ukrainian regime is well known for its repressions against the pro-Russian civilian population. People were tortured and killed for any suspicion of supporting the Russian military or simply sympathizing with Russia. That is why today Ukrainian servicemen can easily find corpses with their hands tied and with traces of torture.

Kiev Begs For ATACMS Ballistic Missiles
South Front, Sep 17 2022

The Kiev regime continues to beg its Western allies for modern weapons, turning the war in Ukraine into the global one. To approach Ukraine’s victory in the war against Russia, Ukraine needs long-range missiles, said adviser to the head of Zelensky’s Office Podolyak. Moscow has already warned that the delivery of longer-range missiles by the US to Ukraine will make Washington a party to the conflict. In the event of the start of deliveries of longer-range missiles to Ukraine than those that have already been sent to Kiev, the US will cross the “red line,” said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. Pilots of Ukrainian fighters already use American AGM-88 High-speed Anti-Radar Missile (HARM) anti-radar missiles which have the range of up to 150 km. The range of RGM-84 Harpoon anti-ship missiles, which were also supplied to the AFU, reaches 120 km. The AFU presumably fires these from converted trucks, not from ships. The notorious US multiple Launch Rocket systems (MLRS) M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) allow to fire various types of rockets and missiles, including the unguided ones. The installation is capable of releasing up to six rounds of ammunition at a time at a range of up to 300 km. They are actively used by the AFU to kill civilians in the territories they lost. However, this is not enough for the Kiev regime. The WSJ reported on Sep 12 that Kiev “sent a signal” to the US and NATO with a request to ensure the possibility of purchasing 29 types of weapons in 2023. The list includes ATACMS missiles with a range of up to 300 km. The supply of American ATACMS ballistic missiles to Ukraine will mean the actual unleashing of a military conflict by Washington with Moscow.

On Thursday, Biden announced the aid to be drawn from US military equipment inventories in a memorandum to Blinken. The latest $600m arms transfer included “additional ammunition” for the HIMARS precision-guided rocket artillery systems, 36k 105mm artillery rounds, 1k Excalibur precision-guided 155mm artillery rounds, four counter-artillery radars, four trucks, and eight trailers to transport heavy equipment, anti-drone equipment, mine-clearing equipment, Claymore anti-personnel mines, demolition munitions, small arms and ammunition, night vision devices, cold weather gear, and other field equipment, official statements said. The ATACMS missile, a long-range, precision-guided munition manufactured by Lockheed Martin and long wished by Kiev, was absent from the White House announcement. On Sep 17, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said in an interview with PBS that the country is discussing the supply of long-range missiles with the US. Adviser to the head of Zelensky’s Office Podolyak says:

The issue of assistance and delivery of missiles of a certain range and armored vehicles is a matter of accelerating the end of the war. The sooner we get these volumes of weapons, and we will get them anyway, I want everyone to understand this, because the war cannot end otherwise than on the terms of Ukraine. Because for the stability of the world, Russia must lose. Otherwise, Russia will claim a dominant role in determining global security, and no one needs it, including the US. As we receive missiles, we will accelerate the timing of the end of the war. It can end in 3-5 months, and not in a year and a half. The range of the missiles determines the possibility of striking warehouses in remote areas, for example, in the Crimea. Having destroyed everything related to the delivery of resources, we will get the exsanguination of Russian groups. The fall of Donetsk and Lugansk will bring down the entire infrastructure of the Russian army. Russia will start to flee from the territory of Ukraine on a large scale, including Crimea.

The wet dreams of the Kiev regime are not dangerous for Russia, but pose a real threat to the entire international system. Russian forces is armed with modern air defense systems capable of neutralizing the threat posed by ATACMS missiles. At the same time, Washington’s presents to Kiev may turn the Ukrainian war into WW3.
